Who can refer?

We accept direct referrals from members of the public, such as clients themselves or their loved ones.

Referrals from intermediaries such as: Insurers, Occupational Health Services, Employers, Medico Legal Agencies and Solicitors are most welcome. We have a national network of referrers.

Our services are provided face to face in our weekly clinics, near Meadowhall, on the edge of Sheffield. We also offer home visits, depending on the circumstances and needs of the client.

Fees & payment methods

We accept a range of payment methods for our services. These include payments by: invoice, cheque and bank transfer (for organisations) and postal order, cash and cheque (for direct clients).

We are registered with most major insurers.

It is our policy to regularly review our prices in order to remain competitive, compared to the average psychological therapy fees in our area and national fee rates.

Please contact us to discuss your circumstances and we will try to arrange a payment and treatment package to suit your needs.

We currently operate a three tiered payment system:

Standard fees

Standard payments, which we aim to set at an affordable level, apply to people who are self - funding, who are in employment.

We can offer prompt appointments, without the need to wait, to suit our clients needs.

Organisational fees

Our organisational fee structure is priced to provide feedback reports and therapies at fee levels which is competitive in the current market conditions.

General administration costs such as appointment letters, direction leaflets and customer care appointment reminders are included, without charge, as part of our organiational level service.

Discounted fees

We provide a discounted fee service to people on specific low income benefits and to Trainees.

Insurance

Our service is fully insured for professional indemnity and public liability.

Cancellations & refunds

To allow fair access to our service we adopt the following policies:

  • We book on a first come first served basis.
  • We require 24 hours - notice of cancellation, if you cannot attend a booked appointment.

Refunds are issued in case of overpayment, in line with our policies.

Will the NHS or my GP pay for my private therapy?

Sometimes clients ask their GP, Psychiatrist or Mental Health worker to refer them for private treatment.

We need consent from the client to speak to other organisations such as the NHS.

The client needs to be mindful that they will need to pay for their own treatment if they choose to seek private therapy and that they will not be able to seek reimbursement for this from the NHS.
